Opening times: Reception is open every working day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Accessibility
When the Provincial Government Building is finished, it will be completely accessible, including for wheelchair users. Currently some areas are still in the process of completion.
Parking
The number of parking spaces for cars in our underground parking area is limited. Please use the public transport or bicycle. If arriving by car, please park in the surrounding area or request a parking space in advance through the person or service you are visiting.
Directions
By bicycle
The Provincial Government Building has an underground cycle park with an entrance on the Koningin Elisabethlei. After parking your bicycle, please use the stairs with low steps (next to the cycle park entrance) to go outside and walk the building entrance. There is also a smaller cycle park for visitors above ground.
By bus or tram
The following buses or trams stop very near or fairly near the Provincial Government Building:
- Lines 2, 6, 17, 30 and 191: Alight at the stop called ‘Provinciehuis’.
- Lines 7 and 15: Alight at the stop called ‘Harmonie’. This stop is at 300 metres from the Provincial Government Building.
- Line 22: Alight at the stop called ‘Lokkaardstraat’. This stop is at 400 metres from the Provincial Government Building.

By car
Please use public transport or request a parking space in advance through the service you are visiting. The car park entrance is on the Koningin Elisabethlei. Press the bell at the entrance barrier. After parking your car, please use the stairs with low steps (next to the car park entrance) to go outside and walk the building entrance.
Antwerp Congestion Zone
The Provincial Government Building is in a Congestion Zone. The Zone is indicated by a special traffic sign. For more information, please see the website Slim naar Antwerpen.
NB: vehicles using LPG are not permitted, CNG is permitted.
